GEAR HOUSING:

Gear housing is made o high quality close grain cast iron, large cooling Fins on both efficiency. All joint prevent oil leakages and the bearing housings are accurately bored to ensure correct alignment.

WORM:

The worm is solid with shaft is made of high grade steel so as to give hard wear resisting surface. The bearing and oil seal journal are accurately, cylindrically ground to give smooth running.

WORM-WHEEL:

It is made pf centrifugally cast phosphorus Bronze rim shrunk and keyed on cast-iron center block for bigger units and solid casting for smaller units. The teeth are hobbed on gear hobbing machine.

WHEEL SHAFT:

The wheel shaft is made of high tensile carbon steel. It is oflarge diameter to carry the torsional as well as bending loads which may be induced overhung drives.

BEARING:

The worm & worm-wheel shaft are supported on Taper roller or angular contact bearings of ample capacity so as to take journal and thrust load.

OIL-SEAL:

Best quality of oil-seals are used.

COOLING:

Air cooling is effected by means of standard polypropylene or metal fan which directy a continuous flow of air over the ribbed surface of the case. The fan is designed to operate in both direction of rotation and is so arranged in conjunction with the ribbing of the case so as to allow maximum heat dissipation.

SPECIFICATION:

Wherever they can be applied in matireal and construction, they are made almost to I.S.S 3734-1966 for worm gearing or DIN or latest ISI standard.

GUARANTEE:

Every "POWER GEAR" worm reduction gear unit is guaranteed for 'one - year' against manufacuturing defects. If any gear is becoming defective within guarantee period the same will be repaired or replaced free of charge provided it is sent to our works on site carriage paid. Any defect caused by accident on transit or misuse is not covered by guarantee.
